Learn to photograph the majesty of the Alaskan landscape with a maximum of 4 participants per tour. Our top-rated local photography guides will be your location scout, driver, and instructor – seeking out the best locations and the most dramatic lighting.
Our tours are designed to benefit all skill levels with any type of camera (smart-phones welcome). You’ll enjoy the luxury of being able to capture your photos at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Denali Photo Excursion:
Come discover and capture the unique beauty of the interior while receiving personalized photography instruction. You will have a premier photography experience featuring panoramic landscapes, majestic mountains, and reflection ponds.
The photo guides are passionate, experienced photographers and expert light-wranglers; they will be your location scout and instructor – seeking out the best locations and the most dramatic lighting in real time. You will be provided with individualized instruction so you can hone your skills as you capture beautiful images that will last a lifetime.

Midnight Sun Photo Excursion - A Creekside Favorite!:
Experience the thrill of chasing the Midnight Sun and learn to photograph the dramatic, long-lasting sunset colors in Denali. Your guide will take you to the best locations to revel in the prolonged “magic hour,” beautiful alpenglow, and spectacular cloudscapes of interior Alaska. During mid-summer, sunset is close to midnight due to our far north location. The sunset colors last for an extended period of time, giving us ample opportunity to move to several locations during “golden hour” for instruction and experimentation with different compositions, focal lengths, and exposure settings. This tour also offers good potential for moose sightings because there is less human activity during this time of day.

Backcountry Photo Excursion-Helicopter Adventure - Private Group Tour
With only 20% of the entire state of Alaska accessible by road, take a premier helicopter-access photography excursion. Soar to a peak in the Alaska Range where we will land in a remote location with 360° views! With a maximum of only 4 participants per tour, this is a unique opportunity to experience the wilderness of Denali and take your time to compose the perfect shot. You will be flown with your guide and land on the rolling tundra of the Alaska Range where you will have over 2 hours for exploration and personalized photo instruction.

All guests should come prepared with a mask or face covering.
Weather can change quickly in Denali so bring an extra layer and a raincoat.
Comfortable shoes are recommended – there may be some walking on variable terrain if desired.
Don’t forget your camera, lenses, and extra battery!
We provide tripods & filters.
In an effort to reduce waste, please bring your own reusable water bottle and your own snacks.
Covid Protocol: Guests will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test within 72 hours of their tour. All guides are vaccinated.
A 1% Rezgo Fee will be added to the tour total.

Denali Photo Tours:
- Payment is collected 48 hours prior to check in, cancel 72+ hours prior to check-in, within 48 hours of arrival tour is non-refundable.
- Tours operate rain or shine and seldom cancel for rainy weather with the exception of the Backcountry Helicopter Photo Tour (see below). In the event that a trip is cancelled a full refund will be issued.
- Due to high demand and short visitor season we highly recommend travel insurance.
Denali Backcountry Photo Tour by Helicopter: If the tour does not operate due to weather or because the tour minimum is not met, your payment will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 3 days in advance of the tour will not be refunded.
