Riverboat Discovery Tour
Board the authentic sternwheeler Discovery III for a fully narrated tour along the Chena and Tanana rivers. See a bush floatplane takeoff alongside the boat, visit the home and kennels of the late four-time Iditarod winner Susan Butcher and see her champion sled dogs in action. Be immersed in frontier living and Alaska Native culture as our Alaska Native guides take you ashore to visit our living museum, Chena Village. At the end of the guided tour, you will have time to explore the village on your own and visit dogs from Susan Butcher’s kennels.
